THE PERSON BEHIND THE HELMET01 / THE DRIVER
A racer’s focus.
A family’s dream.
Jaxon Burnett first climbed into a quarter midget at six and a half years old in 2019. Just half a season later, he earned Rookie of the Year honors at the Washington Quarter Midget Association.
What began in Washington grew into a national racing journey. Jaxon competed across the United States and in British Columbia, collecting championships at the Duel in the Desert and Cactus Cup Nationals before his family moved to North Carolina in 2023.
Selected as a Second Shift Motorsports factory driver, he earned multiple podium finishes on the NASCAR Youth Series National Championship Tour and won the Carolina Clash. He then progressed through Bandoleros into the #12B Legend car, earning seven wins in his rookie season and the 2025 EchoPark Speedway Legend Rookie of the Year award.
In 2026, Jaxon was selected for the Nascimento Motorsports Junior Late Model Combine in Madera, California. His next chapter included a win in his Junior Late Model debut at Madera Speedway.
Driven on and off the track.
Follow the journey on FacebookJaxon brings the same focus and determination to school that he brings to racing. After completing fifth and sixth grade in a single year, he is now halfway through ninth grade at just 13 years old. He maintains a 4.0 GPA while balancing his studies with racing and will begin tenth grade in January 2027.
As a Speed-U Student Ambassador, Jaxon shares his passion for STEM education, youth racing, and perseverance. That dedication carries onto the football field, where he helped his Pop Warner team win a city championship in 2025 and earned All-American Scholar recognition. Giving back matters to him, too—he volunteers alongside his family at University Soup Kitchen in Charlotte, serving the community that supports his journey.
